
Mr. Cicio Joins Virtualization Company as Executive Vice President, Enterprise Services
Durham, NC (April 3, 2007) – XDS, Inc., a privately held company targeting the digital virtualization market, today announced that Frank C. Cicio, Jr. has joined its management team as executive vice president, Enterprise Services. Mr. Cicio will be responsible for leading sales and marketing for the company’s enterprise service offerings. He brings to XDS 28 years of experience in technology sales, marketing and management with a range of successful start-up companies.
Frank is joined by a veteran executive management team that includes: Mario Dal Canto, Chairman and CEO; John Abraham, Executive Chairman; Gerry Dube, President; Ken Walker, CEO Office and former EVP Operations; Lorenzo Mejia, Chief Financial Officer; David Kanok, Executive Vice President of Engineering; Tim Mason, Executive Vice President of Operations; and Helmut Salmen, Chief Architect.

Before joining XDS, Mr. Cicio was executive vice president of Worldwide Field Operations at Evident Software. Prior to Evident, he was COO for DataSynapse and responsible for commercializing the company’s solutions within financial services for grid and utility computing, as well as tripled company revenue each year. Frank has taken two successful companies public in Logic Works and Icon Corp, and served in various senior managerial positions with Bachman and MAI Business Systems.
